My mate and i went down one stormy evening to Canal rocks and had never seen souch clouds before. 

Here’s another one from the same morning down at rivermouth!

Wicked surf down at margaret river! This shot was taken from the rocks between main break and rivermouth. The waves were great that day, light easterlies with a a big swell!

This shot was taken between Margaret river mainbreak and river mouth very early in the morning. I think i used about a 60 second exposure which really captured the fast moving clouds. I remember the morning was really foggy which made it an interesting sunrise! 

Another shot i just processed from the same spot, Mitchell Rocks!

Just got back from another trip to dunsborough. Didn’t really get a lot of pictures  due to the weather; it rained 4 out of the 5 days i was there! This one was another morning down at mitchell rocks, i love that spot! 

I remember this morning. My mate and i headed out to mitchell rocks hoping that it would stop raining. Just as we got there, magically, it stopped! So we raced down to the rocks and quickly took some photos. This one i like as it is really simple but complex at the same time!

I’m heading back downsouth now so may not be able to post but we’ll see!

Now for some of my recent shots from dunsborough. This first shot was from a surf break called “Other side of the moon”. I was originally going to be surfing with my mates but forgot my wetsuit and didn’t want to freeze to death! So i ended up taking photos.

I really like this photo due to it’s depth of field. The swell was pretty decent that day!

This shot was taken very early morning with a long exposure down in Margaret river. I was standing on the rocks between Main break and river mouth all by myself when it was pitch black! I’m not going to lie, i was kinda freaked out! So i got busy and took some pictures. These were the first couple of days with my new Canon 10-22mm so i was still getting used to it!

I remember this morning, there was a lot of fog and mist everywhere which made the photography interesting.

This was my first panorama stitch with my Canon 10-22mm i got for my 18th birthday. Now i know that there is obvious distortion, but some people like it, some people don’t! I personally think it works in this case, but can see how it wouldn’t in other cases!  I now know to zoom in and use a focal length of around 18 or even 22mm when stitching but will change it up time to time! 

This shot was taken from a place in Southern Western Australia called Gracetown. The shot is of a place called “Island City”
